ABOUT US

At Berspace, craft is part of daily life. Our rugs and pillows are made in Morocco’s Middle Atlas region, where weaving has been practiced for generations.

Artisans in our collective handweave rugs and textiles using local fibers and traditional methods. Each piece reflects regional patterns and is designed for everyday use in homes.

Weaving connects us with the past, each other, and the world beyond our mountains. By sharing our textiles, we provide opportunities for women in our collective and help preserve the skills and traditions passed down through generations.

Middle Atlas Rug

Middle Atlas rugs are handwoven in Morocco using locally sourced wool and traditional weaving techniques. Crafted by regional artisans, these rugs feature geometric patterns and repeated motifs that reflect local design traditions. Variations in thickness and weave depend on climate and intended use, resulting in durable textiles suited for everyday home settings.
